What is For The Deaf Girl?
For The Deaf Girl is an online blog & community that highlights the lives of women with hearing loss.
While dDeafness does not define us, we believe it is a core aspect of who we are, and how we view and interact with the world. Addressing this part of our story should be a personal and unique experience, bringing you closer to a sense of self love and acceptance.
Our dream is to connect women of all ages and lifestyles with resources designed to help navigate the hearing world & connect each woman with her inner d/Deaf self and identity.
Check out some of what we do in the FAQ section below.

No. We had originally started filing for a 501C3 status in 2023, but after guidance from multiple mentors and our local business alliance we decided that Non Profit status wasn’t right for us.
We are now finishing the process of becoming an LLC with the hope of being a charitable business. What we sell still helps us create safe and accessible environments through our accessibility and cultural consultation services we now offer. We will continue with our current outreach groups and events, as well as educate the community about life with hearing loss.
